Vilafranca del Penedès Medieval Tour
Some buildings and spaces have come down to us that enable us to reconstruct Vilafranca as it might have looked like in the Middle Ages. This tour takes you back to the late twelfth century until the autumn of medieval times. A village sandwiched between Christian and Muslim lands, whose thriving market and fair gave rise to a rich coexistence of the three cultures on its streets, Vilafranca became one of the most prosperous villages belonging to the Kingdom of Aragon.
