Gelida Modernist Tour

Modernism came rather late to Gelida, and it did so tinged with eclecticism. Mainly decorative in purpose, the local version of this movement kept some of the elements of the Catalan architectural tradition while it incorporated new materials too (wrought iron, glazed ceramics, floor tiles, trencadis, and so on).
